Pantanal Fire Fundraiser - Porto Jofre Needs You!

The Pantanal is under siege, and has been burning for over 45 days with wildfires sweeping through its vital wetlands. These flames endanger diverse flora and fauna, including endangered species such as jaguars, giant otters, hyacinth macaws, and marsh deer. Over a hundred firefighters, pilots, and drivers are on the front lines, battling to save lives, homes, and the delicate balance of nature.

The brave individuals working tirelessly in the Pantanal need our immediate support. The situation is critical, and operational expenses are mounting. Fuel for vehicles, boats, generators, and trucks, along with essential sustenance like food, are urgent needs. Your donation, big or small, can make a significant impact, ensuring they have the resources to continue their vital efforts.

Your contribution won't just aid in combating the ongoing fires; it will also serve as a significant investment in safeguarding Porto Jofre and the Northern Pantanal against future fire incidents. Enhancements like fire hose systems and additional floating pumps are crucial for better protection and preparedness moving forward.
